Welcome to
Bayou Road's Sober-Friendly Speakeasy
An Intimate Sanctuary for Botanical Elixirs, Mindful Sips, and Community Care.
A hybrid bar and late-night tea house operated in partnership with Ann & Anthony’s Apothecary Drinks inside the
André Cailloux Center.
A Gathering Place Rooted in Community & Care
At a time when gathering spaces across the city are disappearing, the André Cailloux Center is expanding community ownership and hospitality on historic Bayou Road. The Sanctuary Bar is co-managed and operated by craft beverage purveyor Ann & Anthony’s Apothecary Drinks (AAAD), founded by Taja Nicholle.
Designed as an intimate, speakeasy-inspired tea house, the space offers a calm, pressure-free environment to study, catch up on work, share an intentional date night, or connect with friends over nourishing sips.
