THE PARTNERSHIP: DEVELOPED WITH BLACK REALITIES
This tour exists because of Black Realities — a collective of Black creatives reimagining how we tell stories, use technology, and honor legacy through immersive cultural work.
Black Realities brings a storytelling vision that centers Black brilliance, Black innovation, and Black power. They understand that technology can be a tool for reclamation — not extraction. That AR can animate history. That performance can create space for remembrance.

WHY THIS STORY. WHY THIS MOMENT.
Captain Cailloux's story is one of freedom fighting, strategic leadership, and sacrifice. He organized the first Black regiment to fight in combat for the Union Army. He gave his life for liberation. His legacy has been erased from American history books. We're reclaiming it.
Bayou Road is New Orleans' oldest road — a historic corridor of Black cultural and commercial life. This is where Black power has been built and preserved. This is where Cailloux belonged. This is where his story needs to be told.
The AR Tour honors his legacy while anchoring present-day efforts to revitalize and reclaim Bayou Road. It's not just about the past. It's about reclaiming what belongs to us, right now, in this place.
