André Cailloux Center
The André Cailloux Center for Performing Arts and Cultural Justice (ACC) is a multidisciplinary, community-centered arts, cultural, and organic intellectual center dedicated to freedom, flourishing, and the promotion of justice through the arts, community engagement, dialogue, and sustainable arts enterprise development for Black makers.
Black Education for New Orleans (BE NOLA)
Black Education for New Orleans exists to ignite the Black brilliance that lives throughout schools and neighborhoods so that Black children can thrive. Over just the past year, we have invested in Black educators through initiatives including the National Black Is Brilliant Summit, the Black Is Brilliant Institute, and the Black Is Brilliant Digital Syllabus, while also strengthening Black-led educational spaces across New Orleans.
Our Voice Nuestra Voz (OVNV)
OVNV creates spaces where Black and brown people can heal, build solidarity, and transform systems. Through fellowships, workshops, organizing campaigns, and cultural preservation work, OVNV supports families, students, immigrants, and other community members to lead change from the classroom to City Hall and beyond.
The Black School
The Black School is a community arts organization rooted in New Orleans’ Seventh Ward that equips Black, Indigenous, and People of Color and their allies to become agents of change through art, design, and activism. The organization is building community cultural infrastructure through The Black Schoolhouse, a community arts center opening in Fall 2026.
